Tuesday in the Fourth Week of Lent
We beseech thee, O Lord: that we may in such wise observe this solemn ordinance of fasting; that by reason of the same we may increase in all godliness of life and effectually obtain the continual succor of they mercy; through Jesus Christ thy Son our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, ever one God, world without end.
