O God, who didst inflame blessel Alphonsus, thy Confessor and Bishop, with zeal for souls, and didst through him, enrich the Church with a new offspring: we beseech thee; that being taught his wholesome precepts and mengthened by his example, we may be enabled to attain in gladness unto thee; through Jesus Christ thy Son our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the Holy Ghost, ever one God, world without end. Amen.
