Let thy bountiful goodness, O Lord, we beseech thee, sanctity this our fasting: and effectually bestow upon us the remission of all our sins; through Jesus Christ thy Son our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, ever one God, world without end.
